Our commitment to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the area is something we take very seriously. Our Glasshouses are fully off grid with solar power and water tanks, specifically designed to limit our carbon footprint. All guests have the use of an electric golf cart for the duration of their stay.

We have set aside three acres of land adjacent to the creek for habitat rehabilitation. This land will in perpetuity be fenced off from any form of agricultural use.

We have planted 3,000 trees that are native to the area and will encourage the long term stability of soils and hydrology required to establish and sustain a natural eco system.

We have also joined a number of our neighbours in planting koala friendly trees that will over time reestablish critical habitat corridors to support their safe passage.

To further encourage successful breeding of tree hollow dependent wildlife we have worked with Wild BNB Wildlife Habitat to install a number of nesting boxes that will provide additional habitat in areas where tree hollows are in short supply. These will provide refuge from the weather and predators, and safe sites for breeding.
